Here is a patch to let people dynamically filter by promoted status. It applies cleanly to the 5.x branch but im not using head yet so im not sure if earl has started moving it to d6 yet. YMMV

sunSorry, but 'nodetype' and 'views_handler_arg_nodefrontpage' do not match logically and term-wise.
