When (or if) #273595: Move permission "view any unpublished content" from Content Moderation to Node will be committed and pushed on Drupal core, we will have the same permission "view any unpublished content" and "view unpublished $type_id content" set by this module and Drupal core.
This can be a little confusing, or even, generate some unexpected behavior ?
Once #273595: Move permission "view any unpublished content" from Content Moderation to Node commited, should this module not be deprecated ?

flocondetoileEven, if permissions provided per content type by this module "view any unpublished $type_id content" are slighty different from those provided (if committed) by core.
The general permission ""view any unpublished content" is identical.

amaria CreditAttribution: amaria commentedLooks like the core version will not be ready until Drupal 9 (See Per-bundle unpublished content permissions). So this is still necessary for Drupal 8.
rudolfbykerDrupal 9 is released, and it's not in core yet, so this module is still important and useful in contrib for D9 sites. I'm using the rc1 version in production.
