Obviously, this is nonsense.

Actually, what is the status of this module? Supported or unsupported? Actively maintained or abandoned?

Module recently got new sponsor so it will be supported and D7 version will be released.
Not sure why it shows dev as supported release, on drupal.org it shows 6.x-1.35 which is correct.
I see that repositories are messed up, so maybe it has something to do with it. Will try to clean it up in next few days.
