We needed a Drupal chess module for a new D8 site, but unfortunately there were no D8 chess modules. So we ported VChess to D8. Development is still ongoing, but it is installable and playable, check it out at https://github.com/kodehauz/vchess

Work is ongoing on the D8 port and is almost complete. What is left is further clean-ups, complete test coverage and decisions on new features to be added.
