We need to fix this in the Guidelines as well as in the User Guide content:
On a few pages, you are instructed to click one of the little gear wheels on an administrative interface page to open up some settings. We aren't referring to this consistently:
- https://www.drupal.org/docs/user_guide/en/structure-image-style-create.html (image-style-create) calls it a "cogwheel" in step 11.
- https://www.drupal.org/docs/user_guide/en/structure-content-display.html (structure-content-display) calls it a "gear" in step 4.
I think these are probably the only two places with this button mentioned... I searched through the source (using grep) for "wheel" and "gear" and didn't find anything else (and I can't think of what else we would have called it).
We should standardize on one thing to call it, and add it to the Guidelines here:
https://www.drupal.org/docs/user_guide_guidelines/guidelines-editing.html

jhodgdonHm. A discussion on https://icons8.com/icon/363/settings traces the history and suggests it is a gear wheel. Probably we should standardize on that. Here's a patch... I also noticed that the content display topic was missing a table of fields/values, and the table in the image styles topic was missing the explanation column, so I cleaned both topics up to be consistent with our guidelines and with each other. I also verified that the tables match the UI in the screenshots in those topics...

eojthebraveThe term "gear wheel" is fine with me. As long as we're consistent I'm not to worried about what we use.
Patch looks fine to me. Thanks Jennifer.

jhodgdonGreat, thanks for the review! I'll get this and the other one committed/notified, and make a final 8.3.x release with ebooks. Then we (or at least I for the moment) can get started on 8.4.x!
