On the upgrade status page there are two strings 'Last checked:' and 'ago' around a time value. For translation purposes I should have just one string containing the time value as a variable because the order of the strings must be changed for my translation. So the original string should be something like 'Last checked: @date ago'. I could even be the same string such as in update status.
By the way (not part of the issue, due to the early state of the 6.x version): Calender and date (e.g.) do not show any upgrade status at all, just a yellow exclamation mark.

FrankT CreditAttribution: FrankT commentedJust another suggestion: The 'modules boxes' within 'Clicking on any of the modules' boxes will expand the area and show you a link to download the new version of the project, as well as read its release notes.' in my eyes is misleading, because only clickin on the little triangle in the front opens the informations listed, clicking the name doesn't show the information but 'only' opens the project page.

sunThanks for reporting, reviewing, and testing! I've committed a fix for this bug, changing the string to the same as Update status in core uses.
A new development snapshot will be available within the next 12 hours. This improvement will be available in the next official release.
