Using drupal 6.27. Installed upgrade_status 6.x-1.1 into the sites/all/modules folder. Navigated to admin/reports/updates. I get an "warning: opendir(sites/all/modules/upgrade_status): failed to open dir: Permission denied in /var/www/drupal/includes/file.inc on line 966." error.

Triaging all Drupal 6 Upgrade Status issues. As Drupal 6 is no longer supported by this module and the Drupal 7 version is working as expected, closing this.
