Download multiple digital products in a zip file [#328184]

Raised this issue on the Ubercart site forums (http://www.ubercart.org/forum/support/7007/anonymous_free_downloads_zip and http://www.ubercart.org/forum/support/5916/multiple_downloads_electronic...) but now making official feature request.

I would like the download link that someone gets sent to download digital product files to link to a zip of the files they have ordered instead of linking to the user page where they then have to download each file individually.

This is something already possible in php in the Gallery2 module for Drupal (an integration of http://gallery.menalto.com/ with Drupal http://drupal.org/project/gallery, though very basic) using Gallery2's 'Zip cart' feature.

Is it possible to produce something similar for Ubercart? I think it's pretty straightforward as the zipcart module code is fairly short (http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:Modules:zipcart).

There is a small possibility of this being funded if it was cheap!

I'm not sure how much I really like this idea in core... at the very least, it's no trivial fix. Also, it won't happen in 1.x but could possible later on... updating the version. We're not really using the issue tracker for feature requests, but I'll leave it here for others to respond to since you've linked it already. ; )
