Time Zone Field (tzfield) provides a select field for storing time zones. It could be useful if, for example, you have an entity type representing a location such as chapter, city, office, station, etc., and you wish to associate a time zone with these entities. Time zone data is stored in the standard tz database format, e.g. Europe/London.
Integrations (Drupal 7 only): If Timezone Picker module is installed, a graphical time zone widget will be provided. If you use Geofield module, you can use tzfield_geofield module to populate a time zone field from a geofield (Google time zone API key required).
