I recently stumbled upon the introduction of bundle classes in Core 9.3, and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about how this might relate to this project. The idea seems to map pretty closely to what Typed Entity does with WrappedEntities, and maybe could be used as a replacement for this module or introduce some changes that would affect it's future development.

Thoughts?

I am writing an article for that exact question. I may even quote this issue there!

The short answer is that projects using Typed Entity will likely leverage custom bundle classes. Eventhough custom bundle classes are a step forward they fall short in many of the use cases for Typed Entity. I have covered this in the past in this presentation: https://youtu.be/TQMrfH9oDX4?t=503
