Hi All.

I'm relatively new to module development, but I recently wrote a Twitter module that is available in my sandbox and attempted to get it approved as a module here: http://drupal.org/node/1818974. I received a response suggesting that I should contact the maintainers of Twitter Pull and see if it was feasible to get my code merged into the Twitter Pull module in an attempt to restrict any kind of duplication - hence my post here.

Essentially, my module creates a Twitter feed block with a certain number of Tweets pulled out and elements of the tweet either shown or omitted dependent on the configuration options set in the admin system. I created this module because I've worked with a lot of developers who find even working with simple PHP challenging and I wanted to give them the ability to create a block that displays Tweets without having to write any code.

You can view the Sandbox system here: http://drupal.org/sandbox/craigweb/1818578

You can see a demonstration of the module in action here: http://twitter.craigperks.me.uk

Thanks,
Craig

Given that Twitter Pull now includes support for Boxes, are there still features in your module that this one lacks?

If you're still interested in working in this area, this module could definitely use an extra maintainer, as I've only taken on co-maintainership as a temporary measure!
