"Älgjakt" becomes "lgjakt" (pathauto+transliteration)

I use Transliteration with Pathauto but sometimes swedish letters don't translate as they should

For example

• "Älgjakt" becomes "lgjakt" (Ä doesn't translate to a)
• "Kortids jakt på 500 ha med bra boende på marken" becomes "kortids-jakt-p-500-ha-med-bra-boende-p-marken" ('på' doesn't translate to 'pa')

But others work just fine:

• "Älgjakt första veckan i Falerum på 590/hek" becomes "algjakt-forsta-veckan-i-falerum-pa-590hek" (Ä becomes a)
• "Jakt mark sökes i laholm med omnejd" becomes "jakt-mark-sokes-i-laholm-med-omnejd"
• "Priser på jaktmark" becomes "priser-pa-jaktmark"

I can't find the pattern to when it doesn't work.
