development time has understandably been focused on the 8.x-1.x branch. However, would it be possible to tag a 7.x-1.8 release in the near
future that includes commit 6561e21 for #2871343: Tests are failing as well pending commits for the current 7.x RTBC issues? Additionally, there are a lot of 7.x issues that Need review that may need to go in to the 7.x-1.8 release, but the question of course is which ones?
