Append labels to a token

Im creating a rule with actions "Send mail".
The replacement token patterns are a very nice feature within Rules module. On the other hand, I need dynamic field labels inside each token. If a field is left blank from the node I'm pulling from, I am left with just a label? Is there a workaround for this or can I somehow append a dynamic label to the token? I have yet to find a solution or documentation on this matter.
