Organic Groups Tokens Are Not Getting Replaced

I'm using Organic Groups 6.x-2.1 along with Token Filter and I can't get the token replacement to work. I am already successfully using Token Filter with the following token in the same field [token global site-slogan].

I've tried all of the following
[token og ogname][token user ogname][token global ogname][token all ogname]
with no success. The above tokens get "rendered" as [ogname]. I've confirmed that the group node is getting loaded, but the token replacements aren't happening. I've tried other og tokens without any luck. I've also spent hours searching and attempting workarounds. Either there is a bug or I'm overlooking something.
