Not sure why the new feature from #990512: Introduce depth limit for very large and deep vocabularies got added first to the 7.x-1.x branch and not to the 7.x-2.x branch, would have expected the other way around.

The latest working version for 7.x-2.x branch is the one from #24 submitted by jmoughon.

BTW: If the 7.x-2.x branch is deprecated and no further development, would be nice to see a message on the module page.
