Hi,
I just figured out that tagcanvas module only works with the 7.x-1.x branch of tagadelic as the 7.x-2.x branch is a full rewrite which features no blocks. You should mention this on the project page and in the readme or set a dependency < 7.x-2x.

since the tagadelic 7.1-x version is quite unsupported, does the adapation to tagadelic 7.2-x is planned ?

Updated project note.

At the time of this module was written, tagadelic 7.x-1.x was available. 7.x-2.x support likely will be worked on once it has reached stable status. But as usual, if anyone would like to contribute the upgrade patch are welcomed.
