sam hermans commentedHi,
In order to find out what is going wrong, could you confirm that the site you are trying to add is reachable from the outside and that the url resolves? The system works by polling your site so it has to be available (internal url's will not work)

promesAt the moment I have two sites with this problem. The servers are somewhere on the internet, so I only can press the button "Add this site to your DrupalStatus.org overview" going there via the internet.
One site is a D6 and the other is a D7 site.
For 16 sites (D6 and D7) it has been possible to add the to the overview. The non-added D7 site is on the same server as the 16 sites, the other is on another server.
All sites are up and running and reachable from the internet.
Please give info what I can test to help you out.

sam hermans commentedCould you try again ?

promesHi Sam,
I'am sorry to tell the sites still give this message: Something went wrong, try re-adding your site or contact us.
The D6 site may be on a server where communication with other servers (partly) is blocked. This site will be moved to our servers in 2014. Let's forget about this site for the moment.
The D7 site both has modules stored in sites/all/modules and sites/all/modules/contrib. I get the same message when the setting (where stored) is sites/*/modules/ or sites/*/modules/contrib/.

promesHi Sam,
I just tried to add a D6 site. Its status is "Something went wrong, try re-adding your site or contact us." The ID is: 9985
Also an much older site with ID 9941 has the same status.
Good luck

sam hermans commentedFor site 9985 everything seems ok from my end. (when looking at the database)
It can be that there is a javascript bug in the website when adding. Can you confirm that the site 9985 now doeas appear in your overview?
For site 9941 i was able to download the report, but i'm unable to decrypt the content.
Could you pass me the content of the variable 'system_status_encrypt_token' for site 9941 ? It should be 'H9967329535816'

promesSite 9985 indeed is in the overview and has token: 94aV92Mh3515.
The token of 9941 is: eN3942mG7511.
Today site 9938 reports again: "Something went wrong, try re-adding your site or contact us". Its token is: 6510M649433w7.

promesI updated all D6 sites with the new module and added another D6 site without problems.
sam hermans commentedFor the one remaining site your unable to add .. deactivate the system_status module and uninstall or run
and activate again.

promesBoth site 9938 and 9940 are still report again: "Something went wrong, try re-adding your site or contact us" after deactive the module, delete variables from database and activate the module and adding the site at system_status.
The variables are not found in the database (at the end).
In the loggin I found this message: "admin/reports/system_status/Error-no-token"

sam hermans commentedThe dashboard now clearly shows the reasons when a fetch would fail. Please check again and to verify if this is still an open issue.
