Release notes

The first PHP8 / D10 compatible Synonyms release.

The upgrade path

If you are upgrading from 8.x-1.x or 2.0.0-alpha1 releases, please uninstall the previous release first! And clear all caches as well just in case.

If you are upgrading from 2.0.0-beta1 release you have to uninstall the synonyms_ui submodule first. Otherwise the "synonyms_ui module does not exist" error will appear after the upgrade is done.

Changes since 2.0.0:

#3256767: Add a composer.json file and drop D8 support
#3256802: PHP8 deprecations

Please, note that all new features and bugfixes are going to the 2.1.x branch only.

The 2.0.x branch will not be developed any more and is not supported. Use it if you need D8 compatibility only.

The 8.x-1.x branch will not be developed any more and is not supported at all.
