With Sub-pathauto (depth 1), the articles at

--> /content/article-name

get duplicated at

--> /content/article-name/blah

(where blah can be anything).

WordPress migrations expect visits at /content/article-name/feed, and duplicate content is never a good thing.

This is how core works by design. You'd get the same thing with node/1/blah without this module enabled.

Thanks, didn't realize it (new to Drupal and all that).

Would you think it safe to 404 /content/*/* via mod_rewrite? I haven't seen any /content/article-name/* usage examples in drupal yet but I might be missing some.

I know several modules which do that, so I'm not sure that would be best. Maybe trying something like http://drupal.org/sandbox/pwolanin/1197046 would interest you.
