This is a feature request for users to be able to enter time via ticket comment
Scenario
- User is viewing a Storm ticket and wants to enter time
- User click on "Add new comment" link. Note: This link is generated by the Drupal core comment module.
- User fill the comment form. Including its "timetracking" section. User could leave the "Comment" field empty, just fill the "Timetracking" section. There is an optional timer feature. Which is composed of a "Pause/Resume", "Reset" button.
- User click on "Save" button
- Timetracking records are save in Storm Timetracking
- Ticket page is refresh. If user added a "Comment" it's display.
Notes
- This would not replace the current Storm Timetracking. But would be an additional easier and faster way to enter timetracking item. The most popular timetracking and project management tools use that type of system. Tools such as Redmine Time Tracking.
- I suggest to make this feature optional. As some people might use it or not.
The already existing Drupal Support module his able to do that. Maybe some of its code could be recycle? View demo. Within that demo, click on any ticket link. Scroll down the page to find the comment "subject" section. Below that section you'll find the timetracking section with its super handy timer feature.
Any volunteer for that new Storm feature?
We would be happy to contribute testing and documentation

However, let's consider this after the D7 port is complete.
