Hi there,

1. Make sure you're using the latest version. 6.x-1.4 is what I'm using on my sites and it works just fine.
2. Have you configured the module at http://yoursite/admin/reports/settings/advanced ? Specifically, the "Only allow unique content views to increment a content's view counter." option must be enabled.
3. If you want the ignore repeat visits to work for anonymous users, you must enable the access log at http://yoursite/admin/reports/settings
4. If you can, please provide a link to your site.

Everything is done as you mentioned. But it still counts every page refresh. The web site is at DEV phase on local computer. As I mention everything was OK a few weeks ago. the changes i made since then was just installing or enabling some new modules.

I'm gonna disable all cotrib modules and enable them one by one to see what happens. you will get a report here.

I did the hard job mentioned @ #8. but no clear conclusion. it works for some contents, locked at zero for some others and counts every refresh for the rest.(Also changed title to a better one)
