A few bug fixes, translation string changes on the form, documentation improvements, and Drupal 9 readiness. Hopefully this is the last release before 8.x-1.0. Please provide feedback on #3093338: Plan for 8.x-1.0 stable if you think this is ready for 8.x-1.0.
Warning: this release will break sites using core 8.7.6 or below (including 8.6.*). You should pin your site to 8.x-1.0-beta1 release of this module if you are using an incompatible version of core.
Changes since 8.x-1.0-beta1 (minor improvements, mostly removal of deprecated code):
The goal of the project is to keep 7.x and 8.x synchronized for a while. Probably until a year or so after Drupal core 8.0 is released. At that point it's likely that 8.x will become the focus of development and the 7.x will no longer be as actively maintained.
