About Splash Awards
The Splash Awards celebrate the best Drupal work and put the clients behind Drupal projects center-stage. The Splash Awards are being organized in countries all over the world. Started in 2014 in The Netherlands by the Dutch Drupal Association (Stichting Drupal Nederland), the concept is open source so all countries and/or regions can organize and celebrate the Splash Awards.
There are two distinctive Splash Awards editions: one for a region or country, organized by a local community, and then the International Splash Awards, which aims to take place during DrupalCons (such as at Drupal Europe 2018).
In 2019 the Splash Awards brand was developed and formally established. A Community Group was created to help steer different Splash Awards editions. Splashawards.org will provide information about the brand and Splash Awards editions.
