Hi,

This module has been great at significantly reducing spambot user registrations for a while.

However, yesterday I upgraded from 7.x-1.1 to 7.x-1.2 and we have been deluged by a mass of spambot user registration requests coming through as emails for approval (several per minute).

Having spent a little time investigating this, I've observed the following:
- roughly the same number were being blocked by spamicide up to the point I upgraded to 1.2
- from the point I upgraded to 1.2 spamicide stopped blocking pretty much any spambot registration attempts
- only when I changed from the default 'feed_me' form field name to something different did it start working again (and stopped working again when I changed it back to 'feed_me').

I don't quite know what's going on, but spamicide 1.2 seems to be no longer effective with the default feed_me form field. This can't be purely because the spammers have got smart about feed_me as a field name, because it only stopped working at the point I upgraded to 1.2.

Any thoughts or similar observations from anyone else?

Thanks again for a great module, which is clearly extremely effective when it's working properly :-)

Andy

Is it possible that somehow the feed_me.css file has somehow disappeared from your filesystem. I can't think of how this could have happened but it's the only possibilty I can think of. Have you tried dis-abling, uninstalling and re-enabling the module, it could solve the problem, making sure that the css file is properly written to the filesystem.
