I am curious if users of this modulewould support a rearchitecture of the module to decouple styles / players (such as ui360 and page-player) to be pluggable submodules of sm2. This would clean up the issue queue and allow front-end developers to be project maintainers of the player modules while permitting people like me who want to see this module continue to evolve focus on backend development. I think this would be especially valuable as we start towork on a rewrite of the 7.x module as a Media player.

In the mean time, I just want to let everyone know I'm actively working on this module for an ongoing project and am focused on cleaning up bugs and getting the 7.x-2.x relese ready forprime-time, as well as further Media integration (possibly a ground-up rewrite for the 7.x-3.x version).

Maybe a good first step would be to go through each of the open issues that are related to the styles/players and make sure the issue's component is assigned to "User Interface"?

This way, we can work to resolve all code issues first that may still pertain to getting the module ready for 7.0.
