Hey there

I'm new to soundmanager. In fact, I strumbled on this as it seems it's one of the only webplayers which is possible to do things others can't.

Specific, I'd like to be able to load only one global player on a static place on my website, and add links to the mp3's inside the content.

Practically: I'm working with Drupal 7 and the Soundmanager2 module. I use filefield to upload the mp3's and the inline display. Like I said, I'd like to place a global page-player on top of every page. The files uploaded in filefield only should appear as links in the content and once the link get clicked, the song should start playing in the global page-player.

Anyone has an idea to get this to work?

Thanks in advance

EDIT: an example of what I had in mind is www.earmilk.com

Is there any hint on how to achieve this? I'm having an hard time finding some clue on how to implement something like this.

I still did not found a solid solution for this. The documentation of SoundManager is rather extended so I have some hard time finding the sections I need to achieve this feature. I've found an interesting topic on the support forums of SoundManager, so for your interest, you can follow evolutions there: https://getsatisfaction.com/schillmania/topics/use_one_player_to_play_di...

Hey all,

I've pushed some code to support this kind of behavior, you can see some early work here:

Github: https://github.com/zirafa/pushtape-player.js

I'm currently working on Drupal integration over here:
