For a while now, the counter portion of the Twitter button hasn't been displaying, although counters for the other options are. Anyone else experiencing this? (Occurs whether user is logged in or not.)

So after some research, it seems that twitter has completely discontinued the API that was used for counting tweets. You can reference the following two links from AddThis and Twitter themselves for why they decided to do this.
