Note: This release does not change anything functional in Open Social, and is contained towards automated tests for 11.9.x
The branch of 11.9.x was failing the automated tests for a while now. This was due to some cherry-picks going wrong. This has been fixed in the following PR: Internal: Backport AvoidCleanupTrait to 11.9.x (link to external pr)
We are thrilled to announce the alpha release of Open Social 11.10.0-alpha1! This version brings a plethora of updates and offers full support for PHP 8.1, while also ensuring compatibility with PHP 8.0.
Notably, the most significant change in this release is the transition from requiring drupal/core-recommended to drupal/core and PHP 8.1 support. Please be aware of this change when updating your dependencies.
As previously announced, Open Social version 11.6.x is now being deprecated in favour of Open Social 11.8.x, please make sure to update your platforms with the latest released version!
