Version: 8.x-1.0-beta3
I get this error when clicking Configure link on the Extend page:
Uncaught PHP Exception Drupal\Core\Config\ImmutableConfigException: "Can not set values on immutable configuration smtp.settings:smtp_protocol. Use \Drupal\Core\Config\ConfigFactoryInterface::getEditable() to retrieve a mutable configuration object" at E:\inetpub\wwwroot\NHP\core\lib\Drupal\Core\Config\ImmutableConfig.php line 27
I wish i knew more about it, but never seen this.
I'm running Drupal 8.4.2, Microsoft-IIS/8.5, PHP 7.1.11
I only installed this because emails were not sending from a default setup

I am not able to reproduce this issue. I tried reproducing it both on version: 8.x-1.0-beta3 and version: 8.x-1.x-dev. I followed the steps mentioned above. Can you please help me reproducing this issue.
Thanks!

Unfortunately, i cannot replicate this error becuase the server environment has changed. My IT guy set up the SMTP properly in PHP and now we have no errors and are using no Drupal modules.
So... closed?
Thank you for your prompt reply!
