my site currently has a hacked version of 2.95, i learned that we had to stay on 2.95 because we have to have htauth support hacked into the module (to make requests).

how can i make the new version of the module support htauth?

Could you please provide more info on this? What case is covered by your patch?
Could you also please show the initial patch which is applied to 2.95?
