Text does not fill the screen on IOS device

When viewed on an IOS device. my site at crestere.co.uk does not fill the screen but only about 60%.

A similar issue was reported but not resolved for the flux theme at https://www.drupal.org/node/2543108

It is not simply about screen width as a PC window set to very narrow correctly fills the window.
