Dont know how to remove the Lorium ipsum from the slideshow. There is also no way to change the text on the slideshow.

You have to edit the page.tpl.php file to change the text and images.

Go to the sites/all/themes/simplecorp/page.tpl.php and change the text on line 135, 145 and 155 with the text you need.
