How to embed SimpleAds in body content

Can someone give me an idea of how to use this text format filter?
[advertisement:[block-delta] groups:[Advertisement Group ids]]

I've tried replacing the word 'delta' with the block name (ad blocks don't have numbers AFAIK). And I'm not sure what to replace 'Advertisement Group ids' with. I tried using the Group number (a taxonomy term), but that's not working either. I feel like I am missing something here.
