This module allows a user to mark themselves attended for Signup-enabled nodes by sending text messages via SMS.
A user can either pre-register for an event on the Drupal site or attend in person and send in a randomly generated SMS code to prove attendance. If the user is not currently a Drupal user, when they register on the site and confirm their mobile number, their pending anonymous signups will be converted to real signups and marked as attended.
This module requires a two-way SMS gateway that works with SMS framework.
Idea came out of DrupalCon Chicago 2011 - Tropo module writing contest.
