I am using shs 7.x-1.6+72-dev and chosen 7.x-2.0-beta5.
I have an unlimited multi-value field and when I set the widget to select list all works as expected. (select list.jpg)
When I change the widget to shs I get the standard drupal multi-field display with the shs widget for each of the multi-values.(shs.jpg)
I have set the field settings as per attachment.(Field settings.jpg) I do have no table drag module installed but whether this option is set or not does has no effect.
I have attached my chosen settings aswell.(Chosen settings.jpg)
Inspecting the element it seems the chosen class is set to chosen-single- None -

I expected to see the standard chosen ui but with the add
Am I missing something?

stborchertUhm, as far as I can tell from shs.jpg you have attached, this is working as expected: the dropdown is rendered by chosen. There is no way having the output of select list.jpg with SHS.
To select multiple values simply click on "Add another" ...
