My imported Excel spreadsheet is very nearly working...but... this spreadsheet consists of several linked pages which get imported into different nodes. Is there anyway to get the values in different sheets (hence different nodes) to continue to be linked/refreshed during fiddle mode?

I may be able to find a way to merge the spreadsheets together, but the possibility of introducing errors seems high so I wondered if there was anyway to do this, after all, dependent/linked spreadsheets are not so uncommon, right?

Also, this spreadsheet consists of about 10 linked pages, but some of them look better in html mode or read only mode (btw, i am a bit confused - html mode is also read-only mode, correct?), whilst others I would like to have in fiddle mode - is it possible to have that setting set per individual sheetnode rather than as a general setting for all of them?

Thanks again for your help.

Update
OK, realizing that both of these are duplicate or at least very similar to several previous requests/suggestions:

Remote reference and caching mechanism is also about sync'ing sheets in different nodes
I think this is related also How to create multiple worksheets so I will check that demo. (Hmm, multiple-worksheet-demo not loading ?)

It might be that I could get around this using a view? Would the view refresh/update the values? This approach maybe would do what I need - if it is working? XLSX export of cells with referenced views Also Support external sheet references in Views template
I think this is what I am asking for, Auto-update and you seemed amenable then - have you taken it any further?

I would like to try your proof of concept suggested here Saving edited data in views but I am not sure how to go about it - is that a separate fork?

Just for the record, Multiple Sheetnodes with differnet view modes and HTML / Fiddle Mode Choice options are both requests for sheet-specific (or role-specific) setting of view mode...so I am guessing that this is not so simple to implement. Sorry for the duplicate nag. (And for all of the links...all of my posts seem to get way complicated somehow...just trying to be thorough, but now even I don't want to read all of the way through this!)

Closed. Very old. It may work in later versions.
