As described by infojunkie, I am using a spreadsheet view template containing external view references with arguments to display values in cells in a sheetnode. Below is a simplified example of one such template:
| 2011 TOTAL | 12/27/10 | 01/03/11 | 01/10/11 | |
| Inquiries | "view1/2011"!A2 | "view1/20101227—0110102”!A2 | "view1/20110103—20110109"!A2 | "view1/20110110—20110116"!A2 |
| Leads | "view2/2011"!A2 | "view2/20101227—20110102"!A2 | "view2/20110103—20110109"!A2 | "view2/20110110—20110116"!A2 |
| Contracts | "view3/2011"!A2 | "view3/20101227—20110102"!A2 | "view3/20110103—20110109"!A2 | "view3/20110110—20110116"!A2 |
This template translates correctly when viewing the spreadsheet view:
| 2011 TOTAL | 12/27/10 | 01/03/11 | 01/10/11 | |
| Inquiries | 610 | 40 | 200 | 201 |
| Leads | 251 | 40 | 32 | 33 |
| Contracts | 111 | 11 | 40 | 60 |
I've noticed however that on export, these references do not translate. For instance, for the reference "view-name/arg1/arg2"!A1, the arguments work on the spreadsheet view, but on export they are ignored and the cell value is equal to the value of "view-name"!A1, as if there are no arguments. Which over the course of a table, renders the same values for all columns in a row:
| 2011 TOTAL | 12/27/10 | 01/03/11 | 01/10/11 | |
| Inquiries | 610 | 610 | 610 | 610 |
| Leads | 251 | 251 | 251 | 251 |
| Contracts | 111 | 111 | 111 | 111 |
infojunkie, you mentioned that "Exporting references should pull the referenced sheet as a new worksheet
in the exported file" - if you look at the attached spreadsheet file, you'll see that has happened, but only for the first column, not the second, third and fourth.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
