I'm trying to connect to a Sharepoint On-Premise instance, which uses NTLM for authentication. This requires the username and password to be sent in the headers of every request, instead of during an initial sign-in request.

Hi there,

I haven't tested the patch yet but can comment on D8 upgrade. We've recently moved the project for which the module was originally written to D8 and the Sharepoint integration is on the roadmap, so this is definitely the plan. Unfortunately can't commit to any particular dates as we don't have a clear deadline yet. I'd say it should be completed by the end of the year or so.
