Hi,

Thanks for the excellent module. Do you have any clue how to implement this with the JW Player? There's no documentation on the site for this.

Thanks ever so much for your help.

Hi thomasmuirhead,

I think there were problems due to me telling people to download the 'code only' Shadowbox distribution. It was expected that users grab the JW FLV Player from JW's site or from the 'full' Shadowbox distribution.

I have since changed the dependency from 'code only' to 'full', and updated the INSTALL.txt and the project page to reflect this change. I have released a new version of the module so please download the new one and try again.

I worked it out in the end. Thank you.

for anyone confused, you download the player from the JW flv site call it - flvplayer.swf, and make sure it's in the shadowbox folder in the shadowbox module.

really simple, feel a bit silly, but maybe someone else'll be confused too.

Hi there. Hope it's ok to reopen this issue. I've searched everywhere for a couple hours and can't find a solution.

I'm using the following...

Drupal 6.13
FlashNode 6.x-3.1
JW MediaPlayer-Viral 4.5
SWF Tools 6.x-2.5
Shadowbox 6.x-3.0

...and can't get a FLV file to open in a Shadoxbox with the JW Player.

I've tried:

1) Adding a "mediaplayer" folder in the "plugins/shadowbox-build-3.0b/libraries" folder with the "player.swf" inside
2) Adding "flvplayer.swf" to the module folder of shadoxbox
3) Opening the "shadowbox-flv.js" file and modifying the "player.swf" to match how the JW comes ("player-viral.swf")
4) Opening the "shadowbox-flv.js" file and removing the "0x" in 3 places per another post

Shadowbox works fine in Drupal for opening images, swf (not in JW though - no controls), html, etc. FlashNode, SWF Tools and JW Media Player all work fine to import FLVs, add to page, and play. I want to use a intro/promo video in the Shadowbox though!!!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't know about this as I don't use the flv player myself. If anyone can provide a patch to fix a specific issue then I would be happy to test and commit.

Closing due to inactivity but feel free to reopen if you still have this problem.
