Problem/Motivation

I am interested in becoming a co-maintainer of the Session expire module.

I use this module on several sites I develop and feel I should say thanks and pay for that use, by helping to keep the module up to date and current.

I would like to see a modern Drupal version released with some of the many improvements in the issue queue and will try to remain active in the queue at least triaging and pruning the queue where I can.

I have been active offering help in some of the issues recently.

In an ideal world I would like to also get maintainer permission for gitlab so that I can create new branches as required.

As a reminder: These offers can be moved in the Drupal.org project ownership queue, after they have been kept in the project queue for at least 14 days, and none of the maintainers commented to decline the offer, if the person who made the offer is still interested.

Only the person who made the offer can move the issue.
