Sandbox Module That Works with MongoDB Session Backend

I have created a sandbox module that allows one to use the MongoDB module's session backend with session expiration: Session Expire MongoDB. It's a fork of this module that works with MongoDB rather than MySQL session backend. https://www.drupal.org/sandbox/rhclayto/2568291

Perhaps a note of this on the project page might help people using MongoDB as a session backend to achieve the same functionality provided by this module for MySQL?
