Differences from Webform Service module?

Hi,

Just saw this module. What are the differences from the Webform Service module?

Webform Service hasn't been updated in a couple of years, there are RTBC patches that haven't been committed for years. It also seems that module doesn't respect any form validation set in Webform when it's accessed through the REST endpoint. Does this module respect Webform validation?
