The service having id "google_buzz" is missing, reactivate its module or save again the list of services.

Upgraded from 7.x-2.1 to 2.2 and got the following error message at the top of every page:
The service having id "google_buzz" is missing, reactivate its module or save again the list of services.
google_buzz does not appear in the description of any module or the code of any module.

I started switching off services modules and received many messages along the lines of:
The service having id "delicious" is missing, reactivate its module or save again the list of services.

I switch off everything related to services then switched some back on but all the messages returns. I tried saving settings but that did not work. Services is off until the problem is fixed.
