Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
See previous release notes for changes with the Drupal 9.4.x upgrade on this branch. This release only includes a minor version increase for VBE, as the latest VBO release caused VBE to throw fatal errors. No Sector version tag has been included here, so sites will still read Sector 9.3.5.
New release to bring Sector in line with latest Drupal core security advisories. This also includes a bug fix to the starter theme which suffered from a fatal error on revision routes due to an API change in Drupal 9.3.
Missing dependency from previous version has been added. Latest version of Drupal core (security) and a few contrib updates have been applied to better support PHP8.1.
We used the Sector 9.2 release has a chance to make some significant changes that we decided should only be done with a major point release, so this release does include some breaking changes.
Development branch for Sector using the Drupal Core 9.2.x release cycle.
Prior to tagging a stable version, this branch will be used to make some larger changes to how Sector works. An upgrade path from Sector 9.1.x will be provided.
Update core to 9.1.12 and update CKEditor plugins due to recent security releases in both. Also updates patches that were bundled with some contrib and failing to apply in previous version.
Breaking Changes / Upgrade Guide
Due to changes in version numbers on three CKEditor plugins, you must update your project composer.json to fetch the correct versions of these libraries. See the Sector Project Template for a working example.
Updates to core and contrib modules. This will possibly be the final release in the 5.0.x branch (unexpected upstream security updates aside) and we recommend you upgrade to Sector 9 immediately.
