Yep.. not to keen on writing custom code to display/index certain fields when it could be so simple using the field api (or similar pluggable system).

Not as simple as it might appear, definitely looking for someone to help with development as I am still focusing most of my efforts on getting Facet API to 1.0.

Hi,

I'm really interested in using this module to outfit a blog I wanna make with drill down categories.

How do you integrate taxonomy terms as facets?
Could somebody give me a little walkthrough on how to hardcode this if that's a must?
(I'm a frontend developer only unfortunately)

Unfortunately if I could give you a walkthrough, it would be implemented already :-(. This is a bit of a tricky problem because we have to rebuild a lot of the SQL magic that the Field API takes care of. This is on my radar, but definitely a low priority. I want to get Facet API stable first, but I would be really happy if people could offer some contributions to this module.
