drunken monkeySolr 4.3 isn't currently (completely) supported, you should use 4.2 for now: see #1992806: Fix wrong path to contrib dir in 4.x.
Also, I got the same error message when using "More Like This" with Solr 4: #2004596: MLT not working with Solr 4.x. Since I already committed a temporary workaround for that issue, please try out the newest dev release to see if your problem occurs there.

giorgio79 CreditAttribution: giorgio79 commentedThanks, with the dev version the error no longer shows. As I understand there is some work going on in the issue you referred, so closing this one.
Also, I am having no issues with 4.3 on all of my Drupal sites.
The error log is perfectly clean, and I love the 4.3 admin interface to Solr.
Maybe I spoke too soon, as I now see one error "org.apache.solr.common.SolrException: Unexpected character 't' (code 116) excepted space, or '>' or "/>". Will post a new issue if I can replicate, but no clue what it is at the moment. :)
