Working with views 3x, editing something in an admin overlay: save (but stay in the specific view), and sasson replaces my admin theme for until i reload the page (either with a refresh, or by changing display modes within the view). Doesn't happen in non-overlay mode.
I've seen this behavior in 2.6, 2.7, and 3.x-dev.

So, I dunno if that'd be on Sasson, or if it'd be on some other contrib I'm using...i'd have to do a basic install with my theme and see if it still happens with no other modules enabled.
It'll be at least a couple of days before I'm going to have time to try that, so I thought it worth popping up here just in case there's anything in the sasson preprocesses that might be the culprit.

tsi CreditAttribution: tsi commentedWell, a theme can't implement a hook_init so Sasson simply can't do it.
On the other hand I find it very hard to believe this is the same issue since this is taged as a D5 issue and SO much have changed since.
Looking forward to you little test results, thanks.
