Hi,

Your project page says

It's a replacement with more features for the trigger module in core

Does this mean we should use either rules.module, or trigger.module, but never both?

I find this is not quite clear. Can I suggest you please clarify it on your project page and/or elsewhere in the documentation?

Thanks.

No, both module can be enabled in the same time. Rules has more features then the trigger module and can take advantage of existing core actions.

The project page still says exactly the same thing. The statement is still misleading and has not been fixed.
amitaibu's disclaimer above should be incorporated to the project description.

I removed all mention of the Trigger module from that page, as it was not a useful comparison to begin with. Trigger has been removed from core as of D8, see #764558: Remove Trigger module from core.
