1. Having enabled user_login resource from #2403307: RPC endpoints for user authentication: log in, check login status, log out
  2. then removed the code
  3. and drush cache-rebuild

it is impossible to save new settings on ie /admin/config/services/rest/resource/entity%3Anode/edit

The only solution is to do a site install as drush cache-rebuild kept throwing exceptions about not finding the user_login plugin. Running http://drupal.d8/rebuild.php did not help either.

How is it possible that the plugin system the user_login plugin exists, even after a cache rebuild, yet it doesn't exist? That seems impossible.
